San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park
- IMPORTANT: Historic ships located at Hyde Street Pier are only open Saturdays and Sundays weather permitting! DO NOT PURCHASE A 7-DAY DIGITAL PASS FOR USE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
- San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park charges an entrance fee for each individual age 16 and up. You may purchase a 7-day pass or annual entrance pass below. Children 15 and under do not pay an entrance fee. The pass is valid for San Francisco Maritime only. Please consult the park's Alerts & Conditions web page for the status of pier and ship closures or view the status of ships below.
- Are you visiting more than one park? If you plan to visit other national parks or federal lands, consider purchasing an Interagency Pass (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.) when you arrive at San Francisco Maritime.
- Do you already own a pass? If you already own a valid Interagency Pass (Annual, Senior, Access, Military, etc.), you do not need to purchase any of the passes below.
- Site Passes purchased on Recreation.gov are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Before purchasing a digital pass, please note that some areas of the ships may NOT be open to the public. Following is the current visitation status of the ships collection (updated 3/20/2024):
- Schooner C. A. Thayer. Main deck open. Lower hold open during ranger-led program.
- Ship Balclutha. Main deck and 'tween deck with Cargo Is King exhibit open.
- Steam Tug Hercules. At drydock for scheduled preservation and maintenance.
- Steam Ferry Eureka. Closed permanently prior to major restoration.
BEFORE YOU PURCHASE A PASS PLEASE NOTE: The historic ships on Hyde Street Pier are only open on Saturdays and Sundays. Some areas of the ships might be closed due to preservation and maintenance. Areas subject to closure may change without notice! Please visit the park's Alerts & Conditions web page for current status.
Please have a printed or digital copy of your reservation ticket ready to be scanned at the park entrance station for validation.
This pass is only valid for entrance fees at San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.
All visitors are required to pay an entrance fee. Please be prepared to show your hard copy pass or digital pass on your mobile device.
Children under 16 years of age do not pay an entrance fee.
Passes are non-transferrable, non-refundable, not replaceable if lost or stolen, and are void if altered or reproduced.
Pets are prohibited on Hyde Street Pier (documented service animals are allowed).
